Convention Season

I’m doing a ton of conventions this year. Here’s just my current list:

Therefore, expect me to be posting a lot about the shows I go to! I’m trying out several new products and designs for my table, some of which might make its way to my Etsy store at some point. One of these new things are 11×17 poster prints, and here is my newest design for them! Enjoy.

ECCC Post-Con

Emerald City Comicon has come and gone! It was a huge con this year, I think the number was around 80,000 people? Crazy! I had a table in the Periscope Studio island, and we all had a great time. I met a lot of fantastic people and did some really fun commissions. Here is some photographic evidence…

I didn’t get pictures of all my commissioned pieces, but I was very happy with the ones I did this weekend! I’ve always been a big fan of Pokemon.

My first video game was Pokemon Red when I was nine years old. The first season of the Pokemon anime airing at 8 AM was the main thing that got me out of bed when I was in grade school. My relationship with one of my best friends began because of our common interest in Pokemon.

If you feel the same way, or if your friends or sweetheart does, then share one of these valentines! They’re high enough resolution to print nicely, but small enough to attach to an e-mail.

Commission Pre-Orders

Convention season is right around the corner! This year, I’m making myself available to do pre-order for commissions. If you’d be interested in owning some original art from me, here are some reasons why it’d be a good idea to pre-order:

  • I’ll have more time to spend on the piece
  • I’ll have easier access to any reference I need
  • I won’t have to turn anyone down because there’s not enough time
  • You can just swing by my table for pick-up, no waiting!

The fine print:

  • Sketch pieces are $10
  • Greyscale marker pieces are $20
  • Color marker pieces are $30
  • Commissions are done on 5.5 x 8″ smooth Bristol board.
  • Pricing is for a single character (not counting small animal, so for example, a commission of Bolin from Legend of Korra could include Pabu)
  • No advance payment required, pay at pick-up during the con
  • To order, e-mail me with the subject Commission Pre-Order
  • Include your contact info, commission type, and subject
