Charity Sketches 2014

Holidays last year were hectic, but I made it into the new year with some new job offers and a wonderful showing for my shelter cat fundraiser! I did thirteen commissions and raised $400 for my favorite cause. I had a lot of support from my friends and colleagues, and plenty of interest in making it an annual event, which is exciting! And so, here are a few of my…

Holiday Commissions for Cats in Need

It’s my personal Christmas tradition to make a donation to help shelter cats find homes. Since I don’t have a lot of expendable income this year, so I’m asking the Internet for some help! More specifically, this face is asking you for some help: Here is my fundraising page! You can donate as little as $5, and the page has a breakdown of exactly where the money will go. If…

Periscope Studio Kickstarter

My studio, the grandest collection of comic creators in the Western world, has launched a Kickstarter! We’re looking to fund a series of gorgeous, full-color art books for several of our members. Becoming a backer can net you these books and several specialized rewards from the artists themselves! A lot of hard work went into this, and the finished product is going to be stunning, so please take a look!

Roll Reflex

Now that Rose City Comicon has passed, I’m able to share the piece I did for their exclusive calendar, which was illustrated by the members of Periscope Studio. I got to be Miss September 2014! The theme was Portland, so I did a homage to one of my favorite local places, Guardian Games. They have recently moved to a location that makes them the biggest game store in the country,…

Convention Season, part II

My big rush of conventions earlier this summer concluded, leaving me with a huge backlog of work. Work has been done, and now I’ll be doing more shows! Kumoricon is the first of these, starting this weekend, and on Sept. 22 I will be at Rose City Comicon with some big news involving Periscope Studio. But enough with links and events! You’re here to see some art with nudity, right?…

All the Art

With so many conventions back-to-back, I haven’t had a lot of time to update my website. Allow me to share some artwork that I’ve completed in the last month or so! Let’s start with some commissions I did over Stumptown and Anime Central. And a bit of fanart for Madoka Magica… And then here are some comic strips I’ve been doing, based on jokes from my D&D campaign. They are…

I’m…

ECCC Post-Con

Emerald City Comicon has come and gone! It was a huge con this year, I think the number was around 80,000 people? Crazy! I had a table in the Periscope Studio island, and we all had a great time. I met a lot of fantastic people and did some really fun commissions. Here is some photographic evidence… I didn’t get pictures of all my commissioned pieces, but I was very…

Commission Pre-Orders

Convention season is right around the corner! This year, I’m making myself available to do pre-order for commissions. If you’d be interested in owning some original art from me, here are some reasons why it’d be a good idea to pre-order: I’ll have more time to spend on the piece I’ll have easier access to any reference I need I won’t have to turn anyone down because there’s not enough…

Year’s Close

With the year coming to an end, I’ve decided to do some clean-up and redesigning of my site. If you see anything particularly weird and out of place, please disregard it for the time being! I don’t have a lot of art news for this post, as I’ve had a lot of personal stuff going on. In November, I moved to a new (and much nicer apartment), went home to…
