Therefore, expect me to be posting a lot about the shows I go to! I’m trying out several new products and designs for my table, some of which might make its way to my Etsy store at some point. One of these new things are 11×17 poster prints, and here is my newest design for them! Enjoy.

My first video game was Pokemon Red when I was nine years old. The first season of the Pokemon anime airing at 8 AM was the main thing that got me out of bed when I was in grade school. My relationship with one of my best friends began because of our common interest in Pokemon.

If you feel the same way, or if your friends or sweetheart does, then share one of these valentines! They’re high enough resolution to print nicely, but small enough to attach to an e-mail.

I don’t have a lot of art news for this post, as I’ve had a lot of personal stuff going on. In November, I moved to a new (and much nicer apartment), went home to Iowa for my parents’ birthdays and a steampunk convention, and then in the first week of December, I adopted a second cat to keep my first company. The new addition is a big cuddle muffin named Westley. I posted a few photos of these developments below!

Otherwise, I’m still plugging away at Memorial and Wander! The third issue of the latter is coming soon…

Also, this year, Rich Ellis and I went all out on our Halloween costumes! As Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield from the original Resident Evil game, we were pretty badass.

We also took a prom picture.

So I wanted to take a moment to gush about Rose City Comic Con. It was the first year for this Portland conventions, and it was a hit! I met a lot of local artists and the audience was wonderful and enthusiastic. I debuted my charms, and they sold like hotcakes! I actually sold out of both the cat and fox designs. I also took several commissions, of course, including a color marker piece of Ryu from Street Fighter. Check him out:

In other news, I’m going to be moving in November! I’ll still be in Portland, but in a sparkly new apartment. I’m going to be holding a Hunger Games themed housewarming party, and I’ll be doing a piece of art to announce it. So, if you’re a Hunger Games fan, help me decide which characters to draw with the poll on the right! Who most represents the Hunger Games?

And now, I’m finally back in Portland. Just in time for Rose City Comic Con, where you can find me at artist alley table 44! I have some exciting things to debut at this con, like my new vertical banner, two art prints, and a handful of charm/keychain designs.

I’ll also be doing commissions, of course, and I will accept up to three pre-orders. For a pre-order, just e-mail me and let me know what you’d like. I can have it ready so you can pay for it and pick it up on Saturday or Sunday. Below I’ve posted my commission specs, as well as two penciled pieces that I’m going to take to full finish so I have commission examples to display at my table.

Regardless, I hope that if you’re in the area, you’ll stop by the con and come see my at my table! I always love chatting with fellow art and comics enthusiasts.

2. The Memorial collected hardcover will be out in September! I’m not 100% on the day, but I’ll make a new post when I find out. Also, Amazon is currently making it available for a fantastic pre-order price! Take a look, it’ll be a lovely book!
