The Space In Between

In between two conventions, that is! Last week I was at MISTI-Con, a lovely  four-day Harry Potter convention in Laconia, New Hampshire. It was a truly magical few days, complete with fireworks, murder mysteries, and the best academic programming I’ve seen at a pop culture show. I met a lot of fantastic people and did some really fun commissions. Here is some photographic evidence… I didn’t get pictures of all my commissioned pieces, but I was very…

Smelling Like Roses

I know I’ve been quiet lately, but in the weeks that have past, I’ve been doing something very important: going home and getting some health issues worked out! I underwent a diagnostic surgery that put me put of action for a while, but the results were good, and I’m well on my way to recovery. And now, I’m finally back in Portland. Just in time for Rose City Comic Con,…
